Also known as "Bravura," the quartet was started by four teenage students in MPO, Claire, Matthew, Tomoko, and Maika, just wanting to play chamber music for fun apart from during Midwest Conservatory's Chamber Music Camp. Originally it was just meant for fun, but as Bravura's reputation grew, many gig inquiries flooded their inbox. Since establishment, Bravura has performed at numerous weddings, conventions, receptions, and concerts. Now, Bravura is under the Midwest Fine Arts Society, performing gigs frequently. Members of the Bravura String Quartet are the top players of MPO.
