Mr. Aaron Marin enjoys a diverse career as a public school music educator, professional Bassist, and private lesson instructor. Mr. Marin has been a part of the Midwest Fine Arts Society since 2020, and has performed regularly in the Midwest Philharmonic, Chamber and String Orchestras. Additionally, he serves as its Operations Assistant, assisting rehearsal logistics, stage management, and personnel coordination. Previously, he has performed as Principal Bassist in the Elmhurst University Orchestra, under the baton of Taka Matsunaga.

While at Elmhurst, he was also an active member of the Elmhurst University Jazz Band where he got to work alongside world class musicians such as Dennis Marcel and Terrell Stafford During the Elmhurst University Jazz festivals. As an active musician, Mr. Marin has performed at numerous renowned venues, including Andy's Jazz Club, Fulton Street Collective, Grainger Ballroom at Symphony Center in Chicago, Peoria Civic Center, and the Hemmens Cultural Center.

Mr. Marin holds a Bachelor of Music degree in music education with a concentration in orchestral and strings education from Elmhurst University. Additionally, he is currently working on obtaining his Masters in music education through Vandercook College of Music.

As a dedicated music educator, Mr. Marin works full-time at Lagrange D102, teaching 5th-8th grade strings. Outside of musical activities, Mr. Marin enjoys hiking, weightlifting, and cooking.
